Overview

We know it can be extremely difficult to discover that your pet has cancer. We’re here to help you every step of the way from diagnosis to treatment.

We offer a range of treatment plans and tailor them to the needs of your pet in an effort to attack the disease they are fighting and maintain their lifestyle.

Veterinary Chemotherapy

At Animal Medical Center, our veterinarians have one focus in mind: your pet’s quality of life. If your pet is diagnosed with cancer, we are here to help you get through this challenging time through high-quality care and support. We offer the option of veterinary chemotherapy that can be administered by an IV, injection, or taken orally.

Chemotherapy is not always the cure for cancer in your pet. Depending on your pet’s cancer and treatment, chemotherapy may cure their cancer, slow down the reproduction of the cancerous cells in their body, or shrink the size of tumors, improving their chances of recovery. In some instances, chemotherapy can be used in combination with radiation, which can improve the cancer treatment.

Monitoring Treatment

By monitoring your pet’s response to chemotherapy, our veterinarians can monitor his or her progress. Other tests may be necessary, depending on your pet’s tumor, location, and organs involved.

At Animal Medical Center, our veterinarians are determined to help you and your pet through this difficult time. Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns regarding the health and behavior of your pet, or to schedule an appointment with one of our veterinarians.
