Dr. Sutton grew up in Ranburne, Alabama and graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry.  She worked as a chemist at an aerospace facility for 2 years prior to pursuing veterinary medicine. She knew immediately after the first day of volunteering at a veterinary clinic that she wanted to become a veterinarian! She graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her interests include wellness/ preventative care and soft tissue surgery. She is passionate about the human-animal bond, and she hopes this shows in her daily practice. She is very excited to join the caring team at AMC. Her interests outside of work include hiking, cycling, listening to true-crime podcasts, and exploring national parks with her family (husband, step-son, and 5 large breed dogs).
