Dr. Cover is originally from Tuscaloosa, AL, and attended college at UA, where she did an undergraduate degree in biology and a master’s degree in statistics. During her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad in Cork, Ireland, and Florence, Italy. After working as a statistician for a few years, she attended the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. During final year rotations, she participated in a research program at Cornell University and presented her project on coronaviruses in companion animals and wildlife at the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium before graduating in 2023. She loves guinea pigs and birds and hopes to expand her practice to include birds soon. She has a dog named Biscuit. In her free time, she enjoys ballet and reading.
